Westinghouse Thermometer Set, circa 1960's

Original box including "Directions and tested recipes for your Chaney Tru-Temp cooking instruments"  Manufactured in Springfield, Ohio. The set consists of a candy and deep fat thermometer, roast meat thermometer and skewer.  All glass parts are intact. There is some "heat discolouration" on metal areas, but generally are in excellent condition.  The box is intact with some age wear and someone has written "Nivea cream" in pencil on the front.

Green Glass Reamer

Likely manufactured by the Anchor-Hocking Glass Co. (no mark) 
Large swirled rib reamer in spouted bowl measuring approx. 6" across and 8" handle to spout.  The bowl (1-1/2" d.) sits on a raised bottom ring with a crisscross pattern overall.  There are three ribs pressed into the top of the handle which makes the reamer easy to hang on to.  There is one tiny chip on the handle and an even smaller rough spot on the edge. (Can be felt but not seen.)

Aluminum Fish Mold

Beautiful mousse or gelatin mold made of copper coloured aluminum.  Measures approx 12" x 11" and is in the shape of a fish.  There is a flip-down stand to keep it level on the counter and a flip-up ring for hanging on the wall.  "Hong Kong" is impressed on the hanging tab.  Excellent condition with only a couple of small dents.

Anchor Hocking Nappies
Set of 4

Peach Luster Shell pattern. 5" diameter.  White bottom is embossed with "Anchor Hocking" curved above the anchor symbol and "Heat Resistant Made in USA" below. These bowls have a lovely shine with minor manufacturing flaws.  No chips or cracks.

Antique Wooden Cabbage Slicer

Refinished wood - 18" long x 6" wide.  Not sure how this works. Both sides flip up (see images).  Metal blades and rods with wingnuts are age discoloured, and small area of rust. One side has been repaired. This would make a nice decorative piece and has a hole at one end for hanging.

Vintage Wooden Butter Press

This old butter mold is in good condition.  Box (5-1/2" x 3" x 4") is very solidly constructed with dovetail joints as well as small metal nails. The press itself is removable from the handle (likely had interchangeable designs) There are two metal spacing screws which are rusted. The wood is very well preserved.

1950's Roving Eyes Shotglasses

The eyes actually appear to follow you as the glass is moved. Each glass is 2-1/4" tall and 2" across top. They are all in perfect condition.  No chips, cracks or paint wear.  This charming quartet would attract lots of attention at your next party.

Chalkware Boy and Girl Kissing

Colourful vintage chalkware figurine depicts a barefoot boy wearing blue pants and red waistcoat and barefoot girl in pink dress with blue head scarf kissing each other over a split rail fence.
There are a few age worn spots with one area which might have been repaired (see images).  It is very old so is in great condition all things considered.

Dutch Girl and Dutch Boy Chalkware Wall Plaques

Vintage pair of Dutch children doing their chores.  Vivid colours and fine details.  Metal hanging loops are imbedded in back.

These plaques are obviously very old and do have some scuffs and minor soiling. 

The girl plaque has some paint scuff on shoes and small chips on flowers. The boy plaque has one noticeable chipped spot.

Short "stubby" rolling pin is hand carved in one piece with rounded handles.
Measures 13" long and 2-1/2" diameter.  Well used, but in excellent condition.

Measures 20" long and 2" diameter at center and 1-1/2" at ends.  Well used with a few small dents and some stains, but in very good condition generally.

Vintage  Green Handled Wooden Rolling Pin

This wooden rolling pin has green handles consisting of a loose "sleeve" over the firmly attached knob posts.  This allows for very smooth rolling action.  
Measures 17-3/4" long and 2-1/4" diameter. 
The green paint is evenly worn by use but does not detract from it's charm.  There is some fine cracking along the roller.

Primitive Dark Wooden Rolling Pin

Very old rolling pin is one piece with what appears to be handle remnants that are smoothed by much use. One end is rougher than the other.  
Measures 15" long and 2" diameter.  The roller is in excellent condition and is a lovely dark "seasoned" colour.

This wooden rolling pin has red molded handles consisting of a loose "sleeve" over the firmly attached knob posts.  This allows for very smooth rolling action.  
Measures 17" long and 2-1/4" diameter. 
The handles are only slightly worn by use and there is a dark smudge on one.  Over-all it is in excellent condition.

Vintage Black Handled Wooden Rolling Pin

This wooden rolling pin has black handles consisting of a loose "sleeve" over the attached knob posts.  However, one handle is stuck on the post which is loose from roller, and has tape residue on the black paint.
Measures 19" long and 2-1/2" diameter.

Vintage Wooden Rolling Pin

This wooden rolling pin was originally red-handled, however most of the red paint is worn off.   The handles are attached to a dowel running through the roller and has a very smooth rolling action.  
Measures 17" long and 1-3/4" diameter. 
Except for paint-worn handles it is in excellent condition.

Set of 6 knives in a case lined with fabric and "Regal Crest" on the inside of the lid.  Engraved on each knife is: "Steak Knife" and "Leppington, Sheffield, England, Stainless". Each knife is 8-1/4" long. The box is 9" x 6-1/4" x 1-1/2" and is in excellent condition. The box is "wood grain"  on top and sides with "Japan" stamped on the bottom.

Tin grater 5-1/2" long 1-3/4" wide at top. There is a flip lid at the top with a ½" deep compartment for holding nutmeg. There is overall age discolouration and some wear marks but very little rust.

Red wooden handle with cream band.  "Tool Steel Tempered" engraved on metal.  Handle is tight and in excellent condition with only a small amount of paint cracking evident.  A few areas of age-discoloured metal and very little rusting.

"Wear-Ever Aluminum Trade-Mark" is engraved on the handle.  You'll enjoy preparing your fresh squeezed OJ using this juicer complete with pouring spout.    The strainer and handle are removable for easy cleaning.  The rubber "feet" are intact and overall condition of the aluminum is good considering it's age and useage. 6-3/4" L x 4-1/2" H x 4-3/4" W.

This "like new" nut chopper with a black wooden handle, was Made in Canada by Androck.  The glass jar has measurements in cups and ounces up to 1-1/2 cups embossed on the glass.  There is a wooden "Chopping Block" in the jar. The lid is cream and green enamelware in very good condition with very few marks and no dents.

This rippled potato slicer has a red wooden rounded handle. The handle is in good condition with overall "thinning" of paint.  No chips or large bare areas. The metal slicer shows age-discoloration and maybe one tiny spot of rust. The handle is secure. 6-1/4" x 2-1/2"

This very old melon baller has a cream coloured wooden turned handle. The handle is in good condition with overall "thinning" of paint and some bare areas especially on raised areas.  The metal ball is very old dark metal with solder showing where attached to handle. The caps on each end of the handle can be loosened but are secure.  5" long and approx. 1" diameter 'ball".

"Nutbrown, Reg No 8265…Made in England" is inscribed on metal. Red tapered handle has two silver stripes and is in excellent condition with a few areas where paint has chipped off. The zester is also in excellent condition with no rust or discolouration. 6-1/4" long.

Used for cutting biscuits or cookies out of rolled dough. "A Nutbrown Product Made in England" is inscribed on chrome cutter as well as Reg. Des. #'s. Wooden handle is painted red with two gold stripes and is in excellent condition with virtually no worn areas. The cutter is also in excellent condition with a couple of areas where the chrome has peeled away. 6" long.

"Sky-Line Made in England" is inscribed on metal cutter. Wooden handle is painted red with a white tip. Handle shows a lot of "wear" but the slicer is in excellent shiny chrome condition with only a couple of small discoloured areas and a couple of slightly bent blades. The metal cover at top of handle is loose, but slicer is firmly attached to handle. 11-1/2" long x 3-1/2" wide.

This beautiful table cloth is finely hand cross-stitched in brilliant detail and colour.  Urns and baskets of red, pink and blue flowers are framed by a square pattern.  See images for details.  Excellent condition with only a couple of feint stains.

Oriental motif of pagoda scenes on starched fine white linen. Two side panels are seamed under fine chain stitched navy blue accent lines.  Edges are finished with navy blue fine blanket stitching along the four sides.  No holes or frayed edges. Beautifully hand embroidered floral pattern and crocheted edge on good quality linen.  The colour of the cloth is ecru (darker than images portray). 19" Diameter.

This cheerful vintage table cloth is used, but in excellent condition.  It is cotton fabric which is very soft from many years and obviously has been taken well care of.  There are a couple of small very, very faint "stains" which are too faint to even be seen in the photos, but noted for accuracy of listing. 

This lovely hand-embroidered cotton table cloth has a combinations of satin, chain and cross stitches in red, pale green and black.  The edge is scalloped crochet.  The condition is generally very good. No holes or frayed edges. The embroidery shows some wear which indicates a well used item. There is a 1/4" smudge which might wash out. See detail in "More Images". There are a couple  very faint "stains" which are hard to see, but noted for accuracy of listing.

This pretty hand-embroidered starched-cotton table cloth has lovely satin stitched red and pink daisies in four corners with white chain stitching along the four sides. The edge is hand-crochet in a scalloped pattern. No holes or frayed edges. There is some areas of light staining around crocheted edge and one area of feint marks which might wash out. See detail in "More Images".

Beautiful hand-embroidered cotton table runner all in pale blue pattern.  Flowers in basket at each end with floral motive at corners and along edges. Running stitch, french knots and chain stitches are used.   The runner, including the narrow crocheted edge is in excellent condition.  There is one dark streak which might wash out. See detail in "More Images".

Brightly hand-embroidered cotton table cloth with a beautiful Victorian style lady wearing a lovely gown adorned with card symbols (club, diamond, heart, spade) in each corner. Beautiful daisies in the center and french-knot flowers on each side complete the motif.  The cloth, embroidery and crocheted edge are all in excellent condition.  

This exquisite floral motif table runner is beautifully hand cross-stitched in brilliant detail and colour.  The workmanship on this item is amazing. (see "More Images")  Excellent condition.

"Little Hunter" Pinball Marble Game

Wolverine Toy #139. Score points by shooting marbles into the play area with a spring loaded pusher. The game is entirely plastic except for the wire spring.  Except for some surface scratches and age yellowing of the clear plastic this game is excellent condition.  It measures 9-1/4" x 5-1/8".

Cast Iron Horse & Ice Wagon
